Troubleshooting & FAQ

The common issues, in the order we actually see them. Most fixes are one click.

The table is empty (or the page is blank)

  1. Publish your configuration. This is the #1 cause: settings were saved in the app but never published. Open the QuickOrder admin → Publish, then refresh the storefront page. The table renders from the published config that ships with your page — until you publish once, there is nothing to render.
  2. Check the block is on the right template. In the theme editor, open the exact page (Pages → Quick Order) and confirm the QuickOrder block is present on the template that page uses. See install guide, Part 3.
  3. Check the catalog isn't empty. If your included collections contain no products (or everything is excluded by tag), the table has no rows. Review the catalog settings.
  4. Published theme? If you added the block on an unpublished (draft) theme, it won't appear on the live store until that theme is published.

A product is missing from the form

  • Excluded tag: check the product's tags against your exclusion list — exclusions always win over inclusions.
  • Sales channel: the product must be available to the Online Store channel. In the product admin, check Publishing → Sales channels. The table is rendered by your storefront, so a product hidden from the Online Store cannot appear.
  • Not in an included collection: automated collections have conditions — confirm the product actually matches them.
  • Active status: draft and archived products never render.
  • Plan limit: on the Free plan only the first 20 products render.

Prices look wrong for a B2B buyer

QuickOrder does not compute prices — rows are rendered by Liquid, so the table shows exactly the price Shopify resolves for the current visitor. If a logged-in company buyer sees the wrong price:

  • Confirm the buyer is logged in as a company contact (native B2B contextual pricing only applies to logged-in company buyers on Shopify Plus).
  • Check the company's catalog and price list in Shopify admin (Companies → catalogs) — whatever price the product page would show that buyer is what the table shows.
  • Test in a private window while logged in as a test company contact; a leftover retail session is a classic false alarm.

If the product page shows the right price and the QuickOrder table shows a different one, that's a bug — email us with the product handle and we'll investigate.

Not all my products appear (large catalogs)

  • A single quick-order page renders up to 250 products. Larger catalogs should be split into several pages by collection (Pro) — each page stays fast for buyers.
  • On multi-collection pages (a Pro page listing several collections in sections), each collection section renders up to 50 products. For a full-range page, prefer one page per collection instead.

CSV upload problems

  • "SKU not found": the SKU in the file doesn't match any variant SKU in Shopify. Check for typos, leading/trailing spaces, and discontinued references. Matching is exact (case-insensitive).
  • Nothing imports: confirm the file is plain CSV/text (not .xlsx) and uses one separator consistently — semicolon, comma or tab. Export again with "Save as CSV".
  • Quantities changed after import: that's quantity rules doing their job — imported quantities snap to your min/max/increment, with a note on each adjusted line.
  • Variant SKUs are empty in Shopify: fill them in the product admin; the CSV matches on the variant SKU field.

Saved lists aren't showing

  • The buyer must be logged into a customer account on the storefront — the feature is hidden for guests.
  • Saved lists are a Pro feature; on Free/Growth the save controls don't render.
  • Customer accounts must be enabled in your store settings.

Billing questions

Trial, upgrades, downgrades and cancellation are covered in plans, trial & billing. Short version: everything is billed by Shopify, the trial is 14 days, and uninstalling cancels billing.
